The Buryat people were the next displayed in the museum - this is a replica of their log yurts, with turf roofs - shed for animals at one end.
This is a more modern yurt - used for their store selling goods to tourists.
In this model - this is the women's side of the yurt...lots of cooking implements.
This is the middle of the yurt - at the back is the mom an baby section..in front the kitchen.
This is the men's side of the yurt - notice how the logs are placed together. These people were more permanent than the other earlier ones - they planted crops and harvested...but still went after reindeer herds for meat and hides.
Nice modern restrooms - just wanted you to see the Russian words the the English.
Same with the other side!
