On Saturday, December 1st the Church had a World-Wide Day of Service - to kick off the Light The World campaign - honoring the Savior at Christmas.  Part of the young volunteers day was to serve President and Sister Lamb -who were out of town! Here are the AP's and office elders printing a small picture of all the volunteers and two senior couples in the mission.
These wonderful volunteers are gluing the pictures on stars - making ornaments with red ribbon.
Finished product - we gathered a small tree from the office Christmas decorations box and Elder Smith brought the keys to the mission home to set it all up and surprise the Lamb's!
It was a cold day - but these smiles are all warming, aren;t they?  It is about a half mile from the mission office to the mission home - we all had a good time doing it!
Our top star - the Lamb's - then the two senior couples and all the volunteers - wonderful end product.
I thought of bringing a jingle bell on a ribbon to hang on the back of their front door so they would know someone had been in their apartment!  It worked!  They knew right away - and then saw the tree and our note and loved it!!!
