Last of Novosibirsk visit

Walking to Church on Sunday, January 14th, temp below zero and frost on the fur of my coat.
This is the lobby of the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton in Novosibirsk that we stayed in ... loved having the holidays extended - even played Christmas music.
This was made of real gingerbread - well what looked like real bread at least.
Closer view - frosted onto a framework, of course.
Decorated with cookies - so much fun.
I took pictures on the evening of the 14th - and the next morning they began taking down all the Christmas decorations - glad I got these.

  1. Sure does look cold there. But we have had a few days of 7 degrees F and 11 degrees F but by Friday it will be 72 degrees. Go figure. At least it does warm up. We love following your mission and pray for you both by name. Love, Scott and Marian
