Because of Visa Trips, we had the Ulan-Ude volunteers come to Irkutsk - some companions went to Seoul, South Korea, while the others termed us for exchanges. Aren't these a great looking group? Sisters Von Schlegell, Nelson, Melton and Wilcox - Elders Witters, Rolfe, Stringfellow and Mathson .
Elder Rolfe's grandparents served in this mission a few years ago - Elder Mathson's great-great grandfather was a brother to mine - Samuel Rex, in Randolph, Utah.
Aren't these the most amazing and beautiful volunteers? Love all of them!
See the snow getting pushed off the roof of the green building?
They block the sidewalk and then push the snow off!
It has been bitter cold - minus 40+ and the kids haven't been to the playgound much - now it is 10 above zero and they are all over it!
We noticed the ice rink - with half playing ice hockey - the other half soccer! With the world cup here this year there is a lot of excitement.

Early in the morning February 14th - wonderful greeting at the Salt Lake Airport! So nice of Heather, Eli and Isaac to come and welcome ...
The young volunteers look wonderful. They are very lucky to have you both to help and encourage them. Spring will eventually come, right. I was complaining that it was +28 degrees here but it would seem like a heat wave to you. Love and pray for you and the missionaries!! Marian and Scott
