See the ice fishermen on the lake? This was on our way to Bersdk on Sunday - so many fishing!
This is a little closer.
The closest - so cold and yet people like to eat fish!
This display at the big grocery store we shopped at on Monday made us laugh - huge moose lighted, smaller sleigh, tiny elf sitting on the seat! Merry Christmas everyone!
Sister Heiselbetz made this wreath for the Mission Office door - she bought a pine garland and then added all the other other things - she's very talented!
With the remaining boughs she made this runner for her desk... keep 'lighting the world'.
She also made this Gingerbread house - it's a feat anywhere but especially here in Russia!
Closer look at the awesome job she did...she was the director of the School Kitchen for many years then they had their own catering company after she retired from that - she's so good and willing to share.
Sister Nelson (Logan) and Sister Carlson (Charlottesville, VA) helped us put together 'houses' for the institute kids to decorate this week.
The finished products - will look so much better with frosting and candy on them! Every coming to Institute will bring a bag of candy - we will be in Moscow! The waffle looking stuff comes in circles or rectangles and is cookie - you can eat it!
A little closer look.
Closer still, Sister Heiselbetz thought the cookie would not hold the frosting and candy - so we 'glued' frosted it to the card board for strength. We made 17 and that will allow at least each family to have one - and they will be frosted and decorated in pairs - faster then individually.
